Guess who arrived in the post this morning, all the way from Thailand?
Blybe!
Oh, hello |
Now, I know Blybe's aren't the best quality fakey's, but I do think they're is something rather cutesy about this doll...
Scalp seam |
'Puhlease fix my hair' |
I think the blue chips are my favourite, I'd to get her some more detailed ones though. She also has a sleepy eye function. I'm not sure if her eyes have been boggled, or need to be (I forget which way round it is) but there is a lot of obvious space between the and the socket, it looks like she's been gouged.
Eye Mech |
This is a really disturbing angle, I think. |
Overall, she's a cutie. She's got a kind of cheeky look to her, and I can't wait to stick her in some better clothes and give her a face-up which suits her personality.
All that said, the seller I bought her off on ebay was actually really nice and helpful, and sent me an extra little dress set and shoes. For so cheap - £23 including shipping to England from Thailand - they're isn't much to complain about.
'Beautiful Girl' - nice homemade label |
The dress she came in... |
...which broke before I even took it off her. |
I don't know if this is the usual, but she came with a strange yellow top on underneath her dress.
Without her dress on, her underclothes make her look a little too tarty for my liking.
'What da fuck is this shit?' |
The weirdest thing is that the yellow top can't be removed! It was obviously put on the body before the head was glued - yes, glued- into place. So now the only way I can take it off is to give it the snip. Which I will do, very soon.
I have to admit though, I am very, very happy to finally have her :)
