Birthday/Tangkou/Hepburn appreciation post

In other news, it's my birthday in..six days (wednesday) - I didn't realise this until yesterday. I was convinced my birthday wasn't for weeks. August is creeping up on me.
I don't think I'm going to get to see any of my friends, mainly because they are either a) working or b) lazy. I know my boyfriend will plan something nice though.

Presentwise - I'm hoping for books and dolls. No idea if that'll happen though. I can no longer get Nicky Lad, so I'm not sure what the chances of me getting a different Blythe are. Someone may buy me a Tangkou doll, I think they're pretty cute. I'm particularly excited about the Holly Golightly limited edition doll that is available for pre-order soon.

Here are the promo photos:
Her hair is much too dark to match Holly's

love the outfit

Can't decide if this is creepy or cool...

You can pre-order your Holly Golightly Tangou from here - Tangkou UK

I like this doll because, quite frankly, I like all things Audrey. Proud owner of the Audrey Hepburn best movies of all time collection ;) I mean, the woman was multi-lingual, a charity worker, singer, dancer and she had impeccable style, aha. What's not to love?

So in theory, I love this doll. I know if I do get Tangkou's Holly, I'll love her. She's gorgeous. But when we compare her to the real Holly:
Well, no one can be quite as classy as her.
